All our staff are qualified to NVQ 3 or higher and continuous training is carried out. At any given time staff are involved in further training to not only improve their basic skills but sometimes in order to better support a particular service user. We staff appropriately and have a night sleep staff on the premises.

Manager:

Our Registered Manager Katie Turner is qualified to look after the needs of our Residents. She has experience with Learning Disabilities as well as care of the elderly and has been the Manager at Edgar Street for over 2 years: Katie is energetic, and resourceful – will meet with family members and keep them informed of everything as requested and will help residents to organise and achieve their goals while also ensuring their welfare
