It operates as a dementia care home not one with mixed categories: Any home can now admit any category of resident provided that their needs can be met but residents suffering from dementia do best in surroundings which cater to their own particular needs. It is all about care and meeting the needs of the individual resident. Each resident at Fairhaven has a completely individualized care plan created just for that resident. It is reviewed regularly and changes made. Any needed consultations with professionals are arranged and managed. Management is always available to inform you of changes

Visitors can be a rich part of the day for a person with Alzheimer’s or Dementia causing disease. Visitors can be briefed on communication tips if they are uncertain. Visitors are welcome at Fairhaven Lodge. There are few restrictions on visiting times and we encourage family and friends to visit.
